For the needs of the Ophthalmology Department we have proceeded to the following:

• special patient waiting/preparation room
• fully equipped ophthalmology clinic
• distinct ophthalmology theatre

The following operations can be performed at the Ophthalmology Department:

• cataract with phacotripsy
• dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR)
• trabeculectomy
• blepharoplasty
• pterygium
• chalazion
• refractive eye surgery to correct myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia and astigmatism with intraocular lenses
