Solon N. Antoniadis, MD, is a graduate of the medical school of the University of Munich (Germany). He started his residency in general surgery and then followed his specialization in vascular surgery with stations in several clinics and hospitals gaining extensive experience in the whole range of open and endovascular procedures. He works at the ISARKLINIKUM hospital in Munich and maintains a private practice in Veria. He holds the title of endovascular surgeon (Endovaskulärer Chirurg) of the German Society of Vascular Surgery (DGG). He is an experienced arteriovenous access surgeon with many years of involvement in the reference centre for dialysis access surgery in Munich. He also specializes in the endovascular treatment of peripheral artery disease with implementation of a variety of advanced techniques.
